Thanks Carly. You get it! I have been reading an interesting book about the arithmetic vs geometric way of seeing things and how culture changed through the shift from first to second historically. Repetition and accumulation, making lists, was part of the goddess cultures of Neolithic Europe. That was an arithmetic culture. Adding was a way to praise the fecundity of the Great Mother essentially. That’s why there are repeating lists in so many ancient texts, even from later cultures that were patriarchal and expressed the geometric pov, which makes the physical world abstract, thus leading to the crisis of disconnection we are experiencing now.

It is. It’s the author William Irwin Thompson who was publishing a lot of syncretic work in the 1980s and 90s combining liters, myth, history, and science with a look toward preparing humanity for the quantum leap we are in now.

interesting I'll check him out. I've been really enjoying the series of books "sapiens" "homo deus" and 12 lessons- By Yuval Noah Harari. He really delves into the history of mankind, meaning and directions we're taking and going to from the Neanderthals to a robotic world of AI.
